This work is titled “Times are changing.” What I wanted to express most in this work is the rapidity of change in this world. What was shining yesterday will perish tomorrow, and all humans who are born are destined to die. The world changes so quickly that ten years is a generation, and from the present perspective, time passes very quickly.
Everything in the world is subject to ups and downs, and the two people in the center of the painting are carrying the sadness of humanity, who, once born, must inevitably die. The background of the painting depicts the two sides of things: light and darkness.
この作品は時代は変わるという題名がついています。この作品で一番表現をしたかったことは、この世の変化の激しさです。昨日、輝いていたものは明日には滅び、生まれてきた人間も必ず死ぬ運命です。世の中の移り変わりは、十年一昔という具合で、現在から見ればまことに時間が経つのは速いものです。
世の中の全ては栄枯盛衰で、画面の中央にいる二人は生まれてきたならば、必ず死なねばならない人間の悲しみを背負っています。絵の背景には、物事の二つの面である光と闇が表現されています。
