想像の中の幻影 A phantom in the imagination

The title of this work is “A phantom in the Imagination”. I expressed beautiful memories from the distant past in a painting. I used a red background to capture that feeling of nostalgia that makes you smile. The red background represents the image of the sun setting over the horizon. Many people are smiling, but their faces all look the same, expressing vague memories of an uncertain old time.
The size of the work is 297mm x 210mm, A4 size. It was created in 2025 and is a pigmented giclee print. It was printed on print paper from a digital image. Because it uses pigments, the colors are less likely to deteriorate.
この作品の題名は「想像の中の幻影」というものです。遥かなる過去の美しい思い出を絵画に表現しました。懐かしさのあまり笑みがこぼれるようなあの感覚を、絵画に落とし込むために赤い背景を使用しています。赤い背景というのは地平線に落ちて行く太陽のイメージです。たくさんのひとが笑顔で過ごしているが、顔つきは皆同じであり、確かではない古い時代の曖昧な記憶が表現されています。
作品のサイズは297mm×210mmでA4サイズとなっています。2025年に制作しまして、顔料を使用したジクレー版画です。デジタル画像から版画用紙に印刷しています。顔料を使用しているため、色彩の劣化が起こりにくいです。
