This work depicts a human figure holding a clock on its stomach. They symbolize the eternity of time and the limited nature of life. Life and death are one and the same, inseparable. The living and the dead are inseparable friends. This work expresses these things that we tend to forget in our daily lives.
この作品には、お腹に時計を抱えた人間が描かれています。彼らは時間という永遠性と制限のある人生を象徴しています。生と死は共に一体で、離れることの出来ないものです。生きる者と死者は離れることの出来ない友人であります。これらの日常生活で忘れてしまっていることを、この作品は表現しています。
