Mimi Takamizawa.
Free postcards of my work are available.
Limited to the first purchase.
Free shipping.
First off, let me be honest.
This is not a “luxury item that only special people can afford.”
I just want you to take a look at it.
That’s the only reason I’ve made it available.

For some reason, there are paintings that catch my eye.
I can’t put it into words.
But I can’t take my eyes off them.
People who see my paintings often leave with that impression.

Eyes, eternity, history, religion.
Despite the heavy themes, there is no preaching.
There is no explanation.
The paintings are simply looking at you.

Who is Mimi Takamizawa?
I’m a Japanese painter born in 1995.
I’ll send you a postcard straight to your door.

I create my artwork digitally.
But my paintings don’t end up looking “cheap and digital.”
After I complete them, I make sure they exist on paper.
This is because I know that the feeling of being looked at with my eyes can only happen with the real thing.

What I’m bringing you today is a “gateway.”
These free postcards were produced using standard commercial printing.
The reason is very simple:
I want people to encounter them more casually, more unguardedly.

They don’t need to be high-resolution.
They don’t need to be perfect.
I’m happy as long as they think, “What is this?”
My usual works are printed using giclee, a high-definition printing technique.
These postcards are a simplified version of standard printing.
I’d like you to try them out first.

What happens when you pick up a postcard?
You leave it on your desk and look at it over and over.
For some reason, you display it without turning it over.
You can’t explain it to anyone, yet you can’t throw it away.
It’s just a small piece of paper, yet your gaze remains strong.
That’s Mimi Takamizawa’s art.

Why is it free?
Before you sell it, before it’s evaluated, before it’s assigned meaning.
We want you to use your own sense to see if it’s right for you.
You can like it, or you don’t really understand. It’s okay if you don’t react at all.

It is suitable for the following people.
- I don’t know why, but I’m curious about the picture.
- I don’t know if I like art or not.
- I’m interested in the eye motif.
- I’m caught up in the words religion, history, and eternity.
- I want a little peace in my room.
- I want to discover new artists.

Applying is very easy.
Just enter your name, email address, and address in the form below.
That’s all it takes to receive five A4-sized postcards.
There’s no charge or obligation.
If you don’t like it, that’s it.

Finally, this postcard is not a manual for the work.
It doesn’t contain any answers or messages.
It’s just a little experiment to see if it suits your taste.
