A Complete Art Experience for Your Ultimate Life Transformation

Unlocking Your Daily Potential Through the Magic of Art

Hey there.

You have truly worked so hard again today, haven’t you?

When you spend your evening with a tired body, doesn’t your heart feel a little heavy?

To someone as dedicated as you, I, Mimi Takamizawa, would love to share a very special secret.

Bringing art into your daily life dramatically enhances the value of your existence.

I sincerely want you to fall head over heels in love with art.

That is because doing so will allow you to live every single day with far greater fulfillment than ever before.

Whether you choose to live a wonderful life alongside art, or turn your back on art and endure a dull, desperate existence, the choice is entirely yours.

However, you naturally want to choose a wonderful life, don’t you?

Please allow me to help you achieve exactly that.

Tell me, do you happen to know the French painter Henri Rousseau?

He was born on May 21, 1844, and passed away at the age of sixty-six on September 2, 1910.

He was actually a regular office worker.

He worked for about twenty-two years at the Paris toll collection office.

For that reason, people called him ‘Le Douanier’ (The Customs Officer).

He was a ‘Sunday painter’ who painted simply as a weekend hobby.

He never attended any formal art school.

He taught himself how to paint from scratch.

Because of this, people back then often mocked him as a terrible painter.

Do you really think his paintings were terrible, though?

No, absolutely not.

His artwork overflows with a magnificent sense of color and a uniquely fantastical world.

Gaining Overwhelming Confidence Even Without Specialized Knowledge

Do you ever find yourself feeling down, thinking, ‘I just don’t have any special talent’?

Rousseau’s way of living completely blows away those anxieties for you.

He began painting in earnest around the age of thirty-five.

He failed the official Salon exhibitions with strict juries again and again.

Yet, he kept entering his work in the Salon des Indépendants, which required no jury review.

In 1888, he lost his beloved wife, Clémence.

His children also passed away at a young age.

He was later preceded in death by his second wife, Joséphine, as well.

His family life was truly far from fortunate.

Even so, in 1893, just before turning fifty, he retired from the customs office.

He entered early retirement on a pension and dedicated his entire life to his beloved painting.

Doesn’t it make you wonder, ‘Could paintings created after retirement really be any good?’

Prepare to be surprised.

Almost all of his masterpieces were born in his fifties and beyond, after he had retired.

Major masterpieces like ‘War,’ ‘The Sleeping Gypsy,’ and ‘The Snake Charmer’ were all created after his retirement.

No matter your age, and even without formal education, you can create the ultimate value.

Rousseau’s existence serves as absolute, 100-percent proof that validates your future endeavors.

Don’t you agree that this gives you immense courage for your own life?

Awakening Your Creativity Through Unique Techniques and Perspectives

Have you ever taken a close, careful look at Rousseau’s paintings?

The figures appearing in his artwork all face directly forward or sideways.

Their eyes and noses are rendered in simple shapes.

There is hardly any perspective at all.

Trees and flowers are painted meticulously, right down to each individual leaf.

Professional painters initially laughed at his work, calling it childish scribbles.

However, a genius painter named Pablo Picasso was different.

In 1908, Picasso discovered Rousseau’s ‘Portrait of a Woman’ at a second-hand shop for a mere five francs.

Picasso instantly recognized the greatness of the painting and bought it on the spot.

He then hosted a banquet called ‘The Evening in Honor of Henri Rousseau’ at the ‘Bateau-Lavoir’ in Montmartre.

Poets like Guillaume Apollinaire and artists like Marie Laurencin gathered together.

They surrounded Rousseau and presented him with poems of praise.

Deeply moved, Rousseau painted a portrait of Apollinaire and Laurencin as a thank-you gift.

However, the finished painting bore no resemblance whatsoever to either of them.

When told, ‘It doesn’t look like us at all,’ what do you think Rousseau did?

He said, ‘Please let me paint it once more,’ and repainted the piece.

When everyone looked at the second painting, they were utterly stunned.

The faces of the two figures remained exactly the same, and only the flowers in the background had changed.

Doesn’t that bring a little smile to your face?

He refused to bend his personal style under any circumstances.

This unwavering sense of self is the ultimate clue to enriching your own life.

The Real Reason Your Imperfect Self Is Truly Loved

Rousseau’s works feature lush, dense tropical jungles again and again.

He frequently boasted to the people around him:

‘I saw these tropical landscapes firsthand when I served in Mexico alongside Napoleon III.’

However, this was actually a huge lie.

Mind you, Rousseau had never set foot outside of France in his entire life.

He had never been to a tropical country even once.

So how on earth did he paint those breathtaking jungles?

He visited the botanical gardens in Paris and sketched endlessly.

He combined various plants inside his imagination, using photographs and magazine illustrations as references to construct a fantastical world.

He brilliantly transformed the drawback of being unable to travel abroad into his greatest strength using imagination.

In his final years, in 1909, he was caught up in a note fraud incident and arrested.

He was simply tricked and used without understanding the situation, showing how delightfully clumsy he could be.

Then, in 1910, he passed away from pneumonia at the age of sixty-six.

Yet his artwork profoundly influenced famous Japanese painters such as Tanaka Isson, Senoo Ichiro, and Kayama Matazo.

His free-spirited paintings, which anticipated Surrealism, continue to be loved all over the world today.

You do not need to be perfect.

Even if you have flaws or make mistakes, as long as you believe in your world and move forward, it will inevitably turn into a wonderful charm.

Hey there.

Doesn’t learning about Rousseau make your heart feel a little lighter?

There is absolutely no need to fear the opinions of those around you.

You should simply paint your favorite colors onto the canvas of your own life in your own way.

Art is your number-one ally in making your everyday life shine.

Haven’t you realized that you, who are always working so hard, need a rest?

Mimi Takamizawa’s art serves your life with all sincerity.
